The AFMMLA annual meeting will be held on November 25, 2025 from 3:30 to 4:30 PM in Room 254 at the Manitoba Legislature. Take note that if you plan to attend the AGM your name will have to be submitted in advance to security staff at the legislature. Please RSVP to afmmla32@gmail.com to confirm your intent to attend the AGM and the list will be forwarded to security. Also note that security will require some form of ID.

Past Events
Association Events: Media & Democracy with Paul Samyn
A spring event was hosted at the Legislature by the AFMMLA in April, 2024. The Association sponsored a luncheon for former MLAs and guests, including current MLAs, to support its commitment to democratic engagement. Winnipeg Free Press Editor, Paul Samyn, the guest speaker, highlighted the importance of independent journalism as a fundamental element in healthy democracies.
